JH Speech Competition
- open to 5th and 6th grade
- Competition at the end of April or beginning of May

Spelling Bee
- open to all students
- need to sign up by the end of March to participate
- competition mid-April
- Coach: Mrs. Mercado
Battle of the Books
- open to all students
- books available for checking out
