Happy New Year to Gladys Jung’s Families!
We hope that our families had a restful and safe Holiday Break. We are geared up and have the next two weeks of lessons delivered. Delivering two weeks of lessons will allow our staff to safely return from the lower 48, quarantine, and return to the school.
As for students returning to our school buildings, the District reports that it looks like we will be in remote learning through January and that we will look at our numbers and our Smart Start Plan for February. We will keep you up to date with any changes.
We all want students back in our schools and know this is a difficult time. To get to that spot where we can return to school safely, we all need to do our part:
Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth.
Keep 6 feet of distance from anyone who does not live with you.
Wash your hands frequently and specifically before you go to the bus stop.
Parents & Guardians: Alert your child’s teacher if your family is in quarantine or has a positive case of COVID in the household. We make special arrangements in situations where there is a higher risk. Please let your child’s teacher or the school know if you need assistance with getting learning materials.
As always, please reach out to me with any questions you may have.
