Dear GJE Families,
My name is Lisa M. Couey, and I am excited and thankful for the opportunity to serve as the Site Administrator at Gladys Jung Elementary School. I have 7 years of experience within LKSD and over 21 years of experience in education. For the last four years, I have served as the Site Administrator in Chefornak Schools. My background is in elementary education, which is where my classroom experience began. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the educational leader at GJE. I look forward to meeting our Crane students and their families!
The 21-22 school year is fast approaching! The first day of school for students is on Wednesday, August 11!
At GJE, our first responsibility is the safety of our students and staff. LKSD has provided us with protocols and guidelines posted on our site.
