GJE Wrestling Forms & Physical Reminder — Grades 4–6 Important Clarification

GJE families, as we prepare for the upcoming wrestling season, please make sure your child has a current physical and that all required forms and agreements are completed.

Important Dates

September 30: We are asking families to submit all required paperwork by this date so wrestlers can begin participating in practices right away.
October 2: Wrestling registration/sign-ups officially close.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information
Wrestling Code of Conduct
Timely Pickup Agreement
Shoe Checkout Agreement
Uniform Agreement

Missing Forms

Mr. Russ has already prepared and passed out the forms wrestlers need. If any forms are lost, replacement copies can be picked up in the GJE front office. Mr. Russ has already prepared and passed out individual paperwork packets to each student who registered for wrestling. Each packet shows which forms are still missing so families know exactly what still needs to be completed.

Important Clarification

The September 30 date is requested to help ensure your child is cleared and able to begin practices right away. Registration remains open through October 2.

First Practice on Wednesday

All students who signed up may attend the first practice on Wednesday to listen as Coach Morgan goes over team expectations and completes weigh-ins. Practice will finish at 5:30 p.m.

Starting Thursday, October 1, students whose paperwork is not complete and approved will not be allowed to stay after school for practice.
