Congratulations to our scientist Cranes who did a great job participating in science fair last week, and in winning first, second and third places in the elementary division and the Judges Choice award! A big thank you also to the teachers who coached them.
The LKSD Science Fair had 29 great projects submitted by 45 students from 7 LKSD communities.
Students received 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in the three divisions of, Elementary, Middle School and High School. They were also presented with two elite awards, Grand Prize and Judges Choice. These projects will advance on to represent LKSD in the 62nd Annual Alaska Science and Engineering Fair (ASEF) which will take place March 24 – 26, 2017 at the Northway Mall in Anchorage. All students received participation awards and a little Science swag.
