A big thanks to musher
Hugh Neff,
and to two of his dogs, Amigo and Havana, who visited GJE and talked to
students today. Hugh is in town to compete in the K300 this weekend and
spoke to students about how he got into mushing, about his dogs, and
his scariest moments on the trail. Students had opportunities to ask
questions and pet the dogs.
GJE student journalists were on hand to cover the event. A big dog-team-sized thank you to Mr. Neff, Amigo and Havana for
spending time with us today. And thanks to Mr. Drury and Mr. Bayayok for
being guest dog handlers!
