Books on the Fly

Mrs. Charles' students are partnering with the organization "Read on the Fly" to promote literacy by providing books in airport terminals. A select group of students traveled to Ravn last week to reveal the bookshelf and hang posters. A group of  GJE students also came to Yuraq for the community during this event, thanks to the direction of Mrs. Sephora Lestenkoff. It was a great time of celebration and students are very excited to look into furthering this service project in other places within our community! Literacy is powerful and who better to promote it than our own students!!
