The Robotics theme this year is "City Shaper." Our cities and towns face big issues, like transportation, accessibility, and even natural disasters. How can we shape a better future?
There are three components to a robotics season: the project, the robot games, and core values. For the project, the team will identify a problem with a building or public space in our community. Each team will design a project to make it better and do a 5 minute presentation on their solution. For the robot games, each team will design, build and program a LEGO robot to complete missions in the playing field. The core values that guide each teach through the season are:
Discover: We explore new skills and ideas.
Inclusion: We respect each other and embrace our differences.
Teamwork: We are stronger when we work together.
Innovation: We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.
Impact: We apply what we learn to improve our world
Fun: We enjoy and celebrate what we do!
