Gladys Jung Elementary wants to thank our outgoing Site Administrator, Lisa Couey, for her 2 years of leadership. We wish you well, Lisa, as you enter the next chapter in your life. You will truly be missed.
Ms. Couey said that she has enjoyed her 9 years with LKSD and "will miss all the wonderful people I have met along the way, especially the students, who taught me something every day."

We also bid farewell to Assistant Site Administrator, Leah Shreckengast, with many thanks for all the ways she has supported our staff and students. She is headed to KLA as Site Administrator and we wish her all the best.
A warm welcome to Atan' Winkelman, our incoming Assistant Site Administrator, who is no stranger to our region, most recently working as the Yugtun teacher for Bethel Regional High School. Atan' is herself an LKSD graduate from Kuiggluk.
