Dear Parents and Guardians,
This year has been a year like no other. As I reflect on this year, there were lessons learned by staff and students alike. We are moving forward and working and planning to safely return having students fulltime. We will establish a new normal next school year that includes the events and activities our children and parents so desperately look forward to.
This year we will see some teachers move on to new adventures, and I would like to thank them for their service to our children, community, and our District. We will see some new faces in our building and some familiar ones who are new to our facility.
Above all, I will be excited to know the Cranes will be walking up and down the hallways, shooting hoops, running cross country, speech contest, wrestling, Battle of the Books, Family Nights, NYO, and much more.
My journey at Gladys Jung Elementary Schools has come to an end. While I will not be leaving Bethel or LKSD, my flight has changed direction, and I will be flying a different path next year. However, I will look back at the fond memories and friends I have made here at Gladys Jung and visit them often.
I look forward to visiting and seeing the success of your children academically and through extracurricular events. I want to reassure you that you have been left in exceptional hands with the fantastic staff and Leadership in LKSD.
