The ice is melting, it's getting warmer, and the days are getting longer. But we're not done yet! We are 6 weeks away from the end of the school year; let's all work together to finish strong.
Parents, please help your students get enough rest, and make it to school on time every day. Students, let's focus on being kind to each other, and giving our work our all!
Our last SOAR assembly highlighted some ways our students are finishing the year strong:
Attendance
Despite a rough flu and cold season, we still had a good number of students who were able to make it to school each and every day of the 3rd quarter. (And kudos to the kids who stayed home and recovered when they were sick too!)
Creativity
Ms. Lestenkoff's 6th grade class entertained the student body with a presentation on the planets, to the tune of a Frozen melody.
Kindness
Mr. Crace recognized the 3rd Quarter 4th grade Kind Kid of the Quarter, Abby Bobo. GJE recognizes Kind Kids of the Quarter from each grade, and also awards prizes to students who win our Random Acts of Kindness Bingo game. Remember, kindness is contagious!
Thank you to all of you students who work hard to help your classmates and create an atmosphere of kindness in our school.
